My kids came home from school the other day all excited that
all week long, they can get out of class to participate in this.This is pretty obvious conditioning. Creating
Child Consumers for life that will relate shopping with Pride, Fun and the
"gift of giving”.
I got
stuck watching the Disney film Planes this afternoon. Holy Predictive
Programming!!!! The "hero" of the story is a crop dusting plane names
Dusty. There are discussions in the film about gas made from corn as
being superior and of course chemtrails absolutely fill the skies
throughout the film... was this film written by Monsanto and just
distributed through Dizzyme?
Liberal mouthpiece, FRONTLINE ran a fluff piece called FRONTLINE: The Vaccine War where the program pretended to research vaccine contreversy (but ended up creating a lengthy commercial for Big Pharma's ad agency, the CDC).
One of the doctors interviewed at length—Dr. Jay Gordon—wound up
writing FRONTLINE a letter after the program aired because through clever editing, they twisted every point he tried to make to better suit the message they were pushing to sell.
His letter makes a well written argument on the topic:
Accomplished
pediatrician, author, and teacher Dr. Jay Gordon has a commonsense
approach to vaccinations– and an unwillingness to be coerced into either
the “pro” or “anti” vaccine camps. PBS Frontline recently interviewed
the noted pediatrician at length for a show called “The Vaccine War.”
Although Dr. Gordon spent hours interviewing with Frontline, PBS
producers omitted not only 100% of his interview but the entire “third
camp” approach to vaccinations. It is obvious that PBS wanted to create
a simple tabloid news piece with the all-knowing doctors on one side
vs. crazed parents on the other.
This is
disturbing. It is even more disturbing given the level of financial
support provided to public television by drug and related companies. You
won’t easily find information about drug company support for public
television on the internet. But you can find some of it on a fundraising
website run by WGBH, the public station that produces Frontline:

“Last
night, PBS aired a show called “The Vaccine War.” I was interviewed at
great length and in great depth about vaccines and my point of view and
expressed my ambivalence about the polarization of this issue and the
need for more calm reasoned discussion about the number one question
that new parents have. I told Kate McMahon, the co-producer of the show,
that there was a large group of doctors and others who cannot be
dismissed with the facile label “anti-vaccine” because we still give
vaccines and see a place for them in the practice of medicine, but we do
not agree with the current vaccine schedule nor the number of vaccines
children receive all at one time.
A few days
ago, Ms.McMahon emailed me to tell me that the decision had been made
to omit my interview from the show. There would not be one word from me.
She didn’t tell me that she had also omitted 100% of Dr. Robert Sears’
interview. And that any other comments from physicians supporting the
parents on the show in their ambivalence about vaccines or their
decision to refuse all vaccines would also be omitted.
She left
this as a show with many doctors commenting very negatively, very
frighteningly and often disdainfully and dismissively about vaccine
“hesitation” as they called it.”
Below is my email response to Kate McMahon.
Dear Kate,
The
“Frontline” show was disgraceful. You didn’t even have the courtesy to
put my interview or any part of the two hours we spent taping on your
web site.
You
created a pseudo-documentary with a preconceived set of conclusions:
“Irresponsible moms against science” was an easy takeaway from the show.
Did you
happen to notice that Vanessa, the child critically ill with pertussis,
was not intubated nor on a respirator in the ER? She had nasal “prongs”
delivering oxygen. I’m sorry for her parents’ anxiety and very happy
that she was cured of pertussis. But to use anecdotal reports like this
as science is irresponsible and merely served the needs of the doctor
you wanted to feature.
No one
pursued Dr. Offit’s response about becoming rich from the vaccine he
invented. He was allowed to slide right by that question without any
follow up. Dr. Paul Offit did not go into vaccine research to get rich.
He is a scientist motivated by his desire to help children. But his
profiting tens of millions of dollars from the creation of this vaccine
and the pursuit of sales of this and other vaccines is definitely not
what he says it is. His many millions “don’t matter” he says. And you
let it go.
Jenny
McCarthy resumed being a “former Playboy” person and was not
acknowledged as a successful author, actress and mother exploring every
possible avenue to treating her own son and the children of tens of
thousands of other families. I trusted
you by giving you two or three hours of my time for an interview and
multiple background discussions. I expressed my heartfelt reservations
about both vaccines and the polarizing of this issue into “pro-vaccine”
and “anti-vaccine” camps. I told you that there was at least a third
“camp.” There are many doctors and even more parents who would like a
more judicious approach to immunization. Give vaccines later, slower and
with an individualized approach as we do in every other area of
medicine.
What did you create instead?
“The Vaccine War.”
A war. Not
a discussion or a disagreement over facts and opinions, but a war. This
show was unintelligent, dangerous and completely lacking in the balance
that you promised me–and your viewers–when you produced and advertised
this piece of biased unscientific journalism. “Tabloid journalism” I
believe is the epithet often used. Even a good tabloid journalist could
see through the screed you’ve presented. You
interviewed me, you spent hours with Dr. Robert Sears of the
deservedly-illustrious Sears family and you spoke to other doctors who
support parents in their desire to find out what went wrong and why it’s
going wrong and what we might do to prevent this true epidemic.
Not a
measles epidemic, not whooping cough. Autism. An epidemic caused by
environmental triggers acting on genetic predisposition. The science is
there and the evidence of harm is there. Proof will come over the next
decade. The National Children’s Study will, perhaps by accident, become a
prospective look at many children with and without vaccines. But we
don’t have time to wait for the results of this twenty-one year research
study: We know that certain pesticides cause cancer and we know that
flame retardants in children’s pajamas are dangerous. We are cleaning up
our air and water slowly and parents know which paint to buy and which
to leave on the shelves when they paint their babies’ bedrooms.
The
information parents and doctors don’t have is contained in the huge
question mark about the number of vaccines, the way we vaccinate and the
dramatic increase in autism, ADD/ADHD, childhood depression and more.
We pretend to have proof of harm or proof of no harm when what we really
have is a large series of very important unanswered questions.
In case
you were wondering, as I practice pediatrics every day of my career, I
base nothing I do on Dr. Wakefield’s research or on Jenny McCarthy’s
opinions. I respect what they both have done and respectfully disagree
with them at times. I don’t think that Dr. Wakefield’s study proved
anything except that we need to look harder at his hypothesis. I don’t
think that Jenny McCarthy has all the answers to treating or preventing
autism, but there are tens of thousands of parents who have long needed
her strong high-profile voice to draw attention to their families’
needs: Most families with autism get inadequate reimbursement for their
huge annual expenses and very little respect from the insurance
industry, the government or the medical community. Jenny has demanded
that a brighter light be shone on their circumstances, their frustration
and their needs.
I base
everything I do on my reading of CDC and World Health Organization
statistics about disease incidence in the United States and elsewhere. I
base everything I do on having spent the past thirty years in pediatric
practice watching tens of thousands of children get vaccines, not get
vaccines and the differences I see.
Vaccines change children.
Most
experts would argue that the changes are unequivocally good. My
experience and three decades of observation and study tell me otherwise.
Vaccines are neither all good–as this biased, miserable PBS treacle
would have you believe–nor all bad as the strident anti-vaccine camp
argues.
You say
the decisions to edit 100% of my interview from your show (and omit my
comments from your website) “were purely based on what’s best for the
show, not personal or political, and the others who didn’t make it came
from both sides of the vaccine debate.” You are not telling the truth.
You had a point to prove and removed material from your show which made
the narrative balanced. “Distraught, confused moms against important,
well-spoken calm doctors” was your narrative with a deep sure voice to,
literally, narrate the entire artifice.
You should
be ashamed of yourself, Kate. You knew what you put on the air was
slanted and you cheated the viewers out of an opportunity for education
and information. You cheated me out of hours of time, betrayed my trust
and then you wasted an hour of PBS airtime. Shame on you.
The way
vaccines are manufactured and administered right now in 2010 makes
vaccines and their ingredients part of the group of toxins which have
led to a huge increase in childhood diseases including autism. Your show
made parents’ decisions harder and did nothing except regurgitate old
news.
Parents and children deserve far better from PBS.
Thank you, Dr.
Gordon, for stepping in where PBS failed, to share important
information with all of us about the options that exist for new parents
who are concerned about vaccinating their children.
PBS’ actions are inexcusable.
Please join us in demanding that Frontline present Dr. Gordon’s interview accurately and honestly on their website. Take Action.

Israel will be spilling over into Syria next. There was talk of this during one of Chomsky's more recent lectures. When I see stories like this bullshit piece published it only seems that much more certain. If Israel is so concerned about "dangers" on their borders, they should stop expanding them daily!
I heard a fluff piece on NPR a couple months ago how Syria is being violent towards its protesters and how the US is vigilantly watching this scenario as the tensions build. I wonder how much longer until NATO starts bombing the Syrians in the name of democracy. There has been escalating propaganda on these stories over the past few months as the U.S. uses sanctions to squeeze the country, creating higher and higher tensions and more and more protests.
In a world where so much hoopla goes into banning beer and cigarette advertisements (and rightly so) it's ironic that we are bombarded CONSTANTLY with pharmaceutical ads all day long. For quite a while now upon signing out of hotmail, when redirected to the MSN homepage, a very disturbing pop-up ad for Intuniv is flashed in my face. Intuniv is a creation of Shire, a company hell-bent on drugging the youth of America and beyond.
The Intuniv website is littered with info about how the drug is great for making mindless drones. Take these examples for instance:
" INTUNIV can slow thinking and motor skills."
"Brandon is still an average 10-year-old boy, but when confronted with problems, he is learning to accept our input and to redirect himself without an argument. Our family feels like a family!"
"Symptoms of ADHD may include being easily distracted,... arguing with adults,..."
"Behaviors such as temper outbursts and arguing with adults are associated with ADHD."
Serious possible side effects of INTUNIV include low blood pressure, low heart rate, fainting, sleepiness, tiredness, and drowsiness. The most common side effects of INTUNIV in clinical studies included sleepiness, drowsiness, low blood pressure, headache, nausea, stomach pain, dry mouth, dizziness, irritability, constipation, and decreased appetite.
The presentation of these ads are just as bad if not worse than your average beer or cigarette commercial. The particular pop-up ad that influenced this blog entry portrayed a young boy as a monster for having "symptoms" that every normal young person should have! The ad send the message that your life as a parent can be much easier if you drug your child into a sleepy, lackadaisical mind-state.
These constant bombardments of advertisements urging us to drug the soul out of our kids are an indicator of where we are headed as a society of junkies.
Get on board and take a stand against this kind of brainwashing and petition against this brand of pseudoscience brought to you by the pharmaceutical company marketing departments that create diseases and treatments on a daily basis. Do it for the mental health of society as a whole.
Debra Medina, a candidate for the office of governor in Texas was on the Glenn Beck Radio show the other day. As he usually does, Beck used the time to immediately discredit the free-thinking candidate and obscure her back into the shadows. You may have remembered Beck as being instrumental in the removal of Van Jones from his position back in September of 2009.
Notice in this "interview" that Medina is only on for a very short time, and that NONE of the questions posed by Beck relate to her stance on any state issues whatsoever. Instead, puppet Beck decided to accuse Medina as some kind of Truth Movement apologist (which was inevitably followed-up by crony PR smear campaigns).
Caught of guard, Medina fumbled her answer to the accusation and instead of proudly questioning the motive of the question publicly, she answered as politically-minded as possible and answered the claim by saying things like, "there's not enough evidence to take a side on the 9/11 issue."
My first reaction was that of disgust for the likes of Glenn Beck for being so far off topic and participating (as usual) as an agent against free thought. However, after reading this response posted immediately after the interview on Debra Medina's website, I became disenchanted in her as a candidate. There, Medina said, "Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way."
She goes on to say, "The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government...It is absolutely the right and duty of a free people to question their government. Texas does not need another politician who tells you what you want to hear."
She is right about that - Texas, nor any other state, deserve another political machine telling the public what they want to hear - which is why I am hopeful that a real soldier of the Truth Movement (one with a lot more integrity) steps up to the plate before it's too late.
I heard on NPR about a debate going on regarding suspects being held for alleged affiliation with the 911 hijackings. NPR was discussing the "threat" of having these suspects come to trial in NYC and the "emotional harm" it would have on the citizens of NYC. It also had a brief discussion with Bloomberg stating that hosting "these trials not only put New Yorkers in grave danger, but also would cost the city a huge sum of money in extra security costs."
NPR then cut to some brief sound clips of New Yorkers being stopped in the street and asked how they felt. ALL of the clips were of people suggesting that the military hold the trials in a secured location off-shore somewhere. Of course NOBODY expressed the dangers this kind of president will have on the future of Habeas Corpus as we know it!
Pay attention to quotes like, "you are going to give Khalid Sheikh Mohammed four years of a platform to spew hate. And, keep in mind, he beheaded Daniel Pearl and was the mastermind — and he has already acknowledged both — was the mastermind of resulting in killing almost 3,000 people on 9/11."
So much for innocent until proven guilty! And we should deny a civilian trial on the grounds that the defendant will "spew hate" and say things we might not like? In essence this bill directly attacks habeas corpus AND free speech!
Apparently, in defense of attacks against our "freedom," the government continually "suspends" those very liberties that make us "free."
Keeping in mind the information I posted in yesterday's entry, things are getting darker for Liberty as we know it here in The United States...

Seems the rationale of writer Michael Arrington(one of TIME Magazine's 2008 selection as the most influential people in the world) is, “We’re losing the battle to have privacy, so we may as well buy into facebook’s idea to exploit every facet of our lives.” It's also as if he is saying, "Let's label anyone who has an issue with this a "Luddite" and imply that they fear "progress.""
What exactly is progressive about subscribing to and feeding a gigantic marketing list like Facebook?
To me, this article comes just as expected. It's part of an impending slew of "journalism" offering the soft-sell to society. They're attempting to gain a growing acceptance of the loss of privacy.

Thank God for FEMA. No mention in the coloring book that 9/11 was an inside job modeled much like Operation Northwoods, and no pages to color about dealing with a criminal government on the verge of martial law either.
Now if only the government would administer coloring books with a disastrous pandemic theme to help scare the kiddies into washing their hands and keeping a healthy distance from their Mexican classmates -we'd be all set!
