Ever wonder how much it costs to produce these Olympic Games? Ever wonder how or why a world economy on its last leg can afford to find these games so important?
Do some research on the symbols littered throughout the ceremonies, and you might gather some idea...
Does anyone else find it criminal such amounts of money are spent when so much could be done to otherwise enhance the lives of so many living in sufferance?
Even the most fervent sports fan would agree that a central Olympic location and the removal of team colours/nationality, would be more appropriate, so as to bring forth the spirit of HUMAN endeavor, rather than corporate sponsored, publicly funded, national fervor/"pride" we see today.
Think of all the GOOD this amount of money COULD do for the world - well beyond a few hours worth of petty entertainment and pagan worship that most are too ignorant to even recognize....

Not to single out the Olympics - I mean ALL professional sports are a gigantic waste of money and collective brain power that could certainly offer much more to the world at large if put to better use....
"...say now...that guy can throw a ball into a hoop quite well...let's give him hundreds of millions of dollars...."
