Above the Law - Some Are More Equal Than Others

Troy Davis, a very possibly innocent man, is executed for allegedly killing an off-duty police man even though seven witnesses from his trial say otherwise and there is a possible confession of another suspect.

Following the original trial, seven witnesses changed or recanted all or part of their testimony. The limited ability to appeal the guilty conviction was due in part by the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996....that, and the completely inane argument by the prosecution that it was too late to present the recantations as evidence.

Meanwhile, SIX police officers team up in the brutal slaying of a homeless man (on camera) and get placed on PAID LEAVE while the incident is slowly buried in the news "investigated".
