Free Exchange of Info? Not for long

More and more of this type of prop in the news. Manufacturing consent for net security laws never seemed so obvious

Does anyone else smell the Catch 22 here? On the one hand we are supposed to be freaking out that hackers may be able to get our info, but on the other hand we willingly give up our private info on facebook and other sites that brag about how they are "changing the perceptions we have regarding privacy?"

I guess the bottom line is transparency in government and banking is bad, but exposing all of our private information to marketers for the sake of making money is okay.

I recently went to my Dr for my annual physical. He went into this 40 minute discussion gripping about how he now has to, in order to maintain his license to practice, enter all my personal data into his computer which is linked to some huge data base that the insurance companies and the Fed monitor.
The Feds can keep private matters from reporting groups such as Wikileaks and now, in addition to what we are seeing everyday in the papers, we learn of all this hacking and breaching going on. All the while the government is holding small business, including Doctors and non-profits, responsible for the protection of privacy of their clients. The direction this will all take may lead to complete isolation and make everyone vulnerable to the whims of the politic of the day. I was actually afraid to talk to my own Doctor because while I'm talking he's typing or recording information that can be accessed by anyone at any time and used for God knows, any evil purpose.

last August my Dr received a report from the State of Virginia that said i was "seeing another Dr. to obtain the same drugs she was giving me ... well i about had a heart attack & was a raving mess in short order she saw the mistake was a mistake my pharmacy of 20 some years confirmed it was their "computer glitch" when changing over ... well to this day the Dr office nor i can get it changed ...CVS admits their mistake & tells me it keeps getting "bumped on up the "corporate ladder " today i contacted the head of the program who tells me CVS is as big as the government (a big consolation ) he sent a form a year later i am on a national " Dr hopper list which is distributed nationally ... just before this happened my Dr office i have been going to since 1991 "lost" all my medical records in a "computer changeover " they had me down for 4 brain surgeries & 4 children which neither are correct ... it has happened to others here too i am trying to get it into the media so someone won't die from "computer glitches " it has been a VERY bizarre year & when up against the big corps it is an added element of crap
