The Real ID Act was one of those steps. The government will be implementing new national standards for state-issued driver licenses and non-driver identification cards. Each ID will contain a RFID chip. (Ever wonder what will be made of all the radio frequencies we will no longer be using as television and radio all go completely digital?)

Bear in mind that as gold was turned into meaningless paper, so meaningless paper will become a mere series of digits in a database. Your chip will hold your worth. This number will become your life. It can be deactivated at any time...
